Dressing Out: Pretty underthings gained new meaning last year with the inception of "Tail Bait." Three long time friends founded Tail Bait in January of 2003. The Tail Bait concept of "Outer-Underwear" was conceived as a result of the low rise, hip-hugger jeans craze. Inspired by the desire to find a pretty and sexy thong to wear with their low rise jeans, the three girls started hand-making thongs with detachable rhinestone straps that could be worn above the pant line. Everywhere they went, the Tail Bait thongs created a stir as their new idea of "hip jewelry" fast became a trend. The look eventually branched out into bras and camisoles with the same detachable rhinestone straps that were designed to be worn with tanks and off-the-shoulder tops. Thus was born "Outer-Underwear"...The new way to under-dress.
