"Creature Comforts'" Trixie and Cuddlepuss

Creature Comforts on BBC America

Early in December, BBC America premieres “Creature Comforts,” a nine-episode series starting December 2, 2005 from the makers of Wallace and Gromit. In this series, words from regular people (Brits) are put into the mouths of claymation animals. For example, someone would be interviewed about their apartment or work, and that audio would be set to an animal posed in a zoo or a seeing-eye dog sitting near its owner. A sea lion talks about liposuction. Episodes aired on Comedy Central and there is also an Oscar-winning short, but more than half of this nine-week run of half-hour episodes is brand-new, and includes a new, 30-minute Christmas special. “Creature Comforts” was created in 1989, and became several successful British Heat Electric ads, and then this Bafta-winning series, made in 2003.
