Norah Jones: The Latest

Norah Jones has premiered her new album Little Broken Hearts with an NPR Music Exclusive First Listen. The album—which was produced by Danger Mouse and will be released by EMI’s Blue Note Records on May 1, 2012—can now be streamed in its entirety for a limited time ahead of its release at the NPR Music website. "Always more versatile than most people think,” says an NPR rep, “Jones fits all of this smart material to perfection, marking her second decade as a star while making her sound cooler and more unflappably sophisticated than ever."

In addition to appearances on CBS Late Show With David Letterman (May 2), ABC Good Morning America (May 3), ABC The View (May 7), and The Rachael Ray Show (May 9), Jones will also be taping an episode of VH1 Storytellers that will air on June 8. VH1 Storytellers is a VH1 original series in which singer/songwriters perform and tell stories in front of an intimate audience about their lives, lyrics and careers.

Jones will be releasing an exclusive 7” single for Record Store Day featuring two tracks from Little Broken Hearts that were remixed by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek. This limited edition release will be sold on the Record Store Day website on Saturday, April 21, with proceeds benefitting ART from the ashes (AFTA) in their efforts to aid the recovery and restoration process in Bastrop County, Texas, which was devastated by wildfires in September 2011. AFTA is a non-profit arts organization that supports communities devastated by natural disaster through the creation of art.

Jones will tour extensively in 2012, performing at a mixture of festivals, amphitheatres and theatres in the U.S. and abroad. See below for a full list of tour dates or visit www.norahjones.com for ticketing details.
