Francesco Biasia 'Ruth' Tote

Sizable front pocket with three openings keeps the essentials close on a tall tote, topped with a slouchy magnetic closure.

* Interior zip, cell phone and PDA pockets.
* Leather.
* By Francesco Biasia; imported.

This large-scale bag (like the above Dooney) is described as able to contain a magazine, wallet and water bottle. If we were the type of carry the same bag until it begins to look worn, this would be the kind of bag we’d consider. It’s the right size, simple in styling, yet the olive color offers just enough color to not be boring – and it’s a color that coordinates with many other colors

$458

Sometimes, just sometimes, we wish we had coin. If we had coin, we could, at the very least, consider buying this. As it stands, we can only dream.

Welcome to Gordon Ramsay’s Nightmare

(BeansTalk note: we have actually gotten accustomed to this show. Still, we DO think he’s mean. Our pervasive thought throughout the show is always – is Ramsay really that good of a cook to be so mean to these hapless restaurant runners? Whatever the situation is, he sure makes for some dramatic TV.)

Multi-Michelin-starred chef, Gordon Ramsay, returns to BBC AMERICA in a fourth, U.S. premiere season of the BAFTA and International Emmy award-winning series, Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. In the series, failing chefs are given the chance of a lifetime — to have their failing restaurant critiqued by one of the best in the business. But can they handle the scrutiny? And will they actually take Gordon's advice?

Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares premieres Thursday, January 24, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Funny, surprising and inspiring, the BBC AMERICA hit series exposes the harsh reality of running a restaurant. In the brand new season, Gordon is pushed to the limit as he faces a succession of worst-ever restaurants, from a vegetarian place in Paris, to a huge curry house in Nottingham, to a buffet restaurant in Sussex and an oyster bar in Brighton.

Change is never easy, and with the pressure on, there’ll be walk-outs, shut-outs, shouting matches galore and one obstinate chef who just won’t leave until he’s physically removed. This season, the irrepressible Gordon actually fails to turn around one restaurant, but succeeds with the rest, making vegetarian food sexy for the French, using sustainable seafood to reinvent fish and chips and making authentic regional Indian food to replace oily slop. The fourth season features six new restaurants and two “revisit” episodes, where Gordon checks back on restaurants he visited in prior seasons.

Please note: BBC AMERICA will feature an hour-long sneak preview of a brand-new restaurant competition series, Last Restaurant Standing, immediately following the season premiere of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares.

Episode Synopses

Episode one — Ruby Tates

The venue for the season premiere is Ruby Tates in Brighton, owned and run by ex-actor Allan Love. This oyster bar and seafood restaurant is in an affluent and trendy area just one block from the beach, but the owner has never tasted the food, because he hates fish. In fact, he won’t even poke his head into his own kitchen, where his two chefs, turn out a lackluster menu. They admit they wouldn’t eat their own food. And, incredibly, there isn’t a local fish in sight. Owner Allan’s putting on the worst performance of his life. He’s so far in denial that he’s ruining any chance of success, and he throws Gordon out of the restaurant even though he’s losing $3,000 a week. With his restaurant and home on the line, there’s an urgent need to get back to basics, galvanize the staff and produce great, simple food. Can Gordon persuade them to shape up, or will an emotional Allan bring down the curtain on Gordon’s attempts to save his business?

Episode one premieres Thursday, January 24, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode two — Piccolo Teatro

Piccolo Teatro is a vegetarian restaurant in Paris run by feisty former waitress, Rachel. She bought the place three years ago, and now, she and her best friend Stephanie, are trying to convert the carnivorous French. For Gordon, it’s a sentimental journey to the city where he spent his formative years as a chef. Paris is a food mecca full of gastronomic delights, it should be a dream, but his trip to Teatro turns into one of his biggest nightmares yet. Piccolo Teatro’s eccentric chef inhabits a world of his own, and he’s incapable of preparing edible food. Rachel is handicapped by her total lack of experience, discipline, leadership and motivation. Despite losing money at the rate of $11,000 a month, she doesn’t bother opening for lunch and can’t understand why people don’t love the awful rabbit food she’s serving. Gordon’s radical remedy is designed to be an emergency wake-up call, but Rachel’s one of his most stubborn subjects yet. Will he be able to perform an eleventh-hour miracle, or is he about to admit defeat?

Episode two premieres Thursday, January 31, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode three —The Priory

The Priory is a 100-seat buffet restaurant in Sussex, owned by a former IT consultant, Scott. The former chapel of a nineteenth-century convent, the restaurant is in a spectacularly beautiful location and offers bargain roast dinners. Scott bought the place for $600,000, but with an aging clientele eating for half-price, he’s losing $10,000 a week. Despite the heavenly location, the food is straight from hell — recycled meat, soup in a bucket, synthetic sauces, and worse, a lazy head chef content to preside over food-encrusted ovens and an equally disaffected staff. In one of his toughest challenges ever, Gordon’s got to move mountains to turn a time-warp into a trend-setter. He’ll need to make Scott repent for his business sins, get the staff to confess their faults and above all transform The Priory’s terrible food into ambrosia. Will he inspire a miracle, or witness a disaster?

Episode three premieres Thursday, February 7, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode four — The Fish & Anchor

The Fish & Anchor is a restaurant and bar in rural West Wales, owned and run by former boxer, Mike, and his wife, Caron. Mike, a self-taught cook, is a one-man pressure cooker in the kitchen, as he struggles to accommodate a massive menu. Meanwhile, Caron’s unique style of front-of-house management includes abusing the customers and her husband in equal measure. Every night, they go twelve rounds with the local clientele, while they take on a $2,000 loss each week. Enter Gordon, who finds himself cast as marriage counsellor in a culinary battlefield. It’s a last-ditch attempt to reverse the restaurant’s disastrous reputation, while putting some love back into the kitchen and on the plates. Will Mike accept this last-minute reality check in the fight of his life, or will he stay on the ropes and sink?

Episode four premieres Thursday, February 14, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode five — The Curry Lounge

The Curry Lounge in Nottingham is episode five’s featured restaurant. This 120-seat Indian restaurant has been run since January by a former sales director, Raz, who’s new to the business — and it shows. Despite a million-dollar renovation, featuring décor inspired by Bollywood, the honeymoon period’s well and truly over. His once-healthy business is evaporating, and at this rate, he’ll be closed in less than a year. Enter Gordon, relishing the prospect of tackling an Indian restaurant for the first time, and finds there’s plenty to fix. This do-it-yourself curry house puts the customers in control of the menu, allowing them to create their own dishes, and making life hell for the head chef. He’s not a fan of the over-the-top presentation, which includes giant suspended nan breads. Also, the front-of-house team lacks any clear line of command. Worst of all, the cooking’s just not up to the challenge, with inauthentic dishes cluttering a mile-long menu. It’s time to put some passion back into the kitchen, and persuade Raz to get real. Can Gordon make the Curry Lounge a contemporary ethnic delight, or will the big time, and a dining room full of happy customers, remain a distant dream?

Episode five premieres Thursday, February 21, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode six — The Granary

The Granary in rural Hampshire is an upscale restaurant which, at 200 seats, is the biggest Gordon’s ever taken on. Originally opened four years ago by entrepreneur Nigel Nieddu, the restaurant was relaunched after a four million dollar refit, but it’s still losing $8,000 a week. It promises classy modern British cuisine, but in reality, the fussy menu features food sourced from all over the globe. The locals, intimidated by its exclusive reputation, are staying far away. While the head chef plays parole officer to his unruly teenage charges in the kitchen, Nigel stubbornly struggles to contain the front-of-house chaos he’s created. Gordon’s got to carry out radical surgery to prevent disaster. The kitchen needs a massive injection of discipline to stop the lippy apprentices, and it’s time to go back to nature and get passion back on the menu. But there’s a meltdown on the horizon. Can Gordon persuade the headstrong boss to see the grim reality, or will the Granary bite the dust?

Episode six premieres Thursday, February 28, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode seven — La Parra de Burriana revisited

This week Gordon is back in Spain to see how his old friend Laurence is faring at La Parra de Burriana, an ex-pat restaurant in Nerja on the Costa del Sol. One year ago, Gordon found Laurence serving his scary signature dish, prawns in garlic with chocolate sauce. The Mediterranean menu certainly did have a special twist — no-one wanted to eat it. The kebabs were raw, the place was over-booked (in spite of dog mess in the dining room) and the customers faced an interminable wait for their food. Unsurprisingly, Laurence lost $44,000. Now, one year on, Gordon returns to La Parra de Burriana to find that they’ve survived the winter. But the bad news is that Laurence still has dreams above his skills and is planning to run before he can walk. He actually wants to open a second restaurant before he’s made a real success of the first. But with cremated desserts and gum drops on the menu, Gordon’s about to apply the brakes — Ramsay style.

Episode seven premieres Thursday, March 6, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Episode eight — Fenwick Arms revisited

In the season finale, Gordon returns to rural Lancashire to see how Brian and Elaine are faring at the Fenwick Arms. When he first arrived one year ago, Gordon was staggered by Brian, who, after thirty years in the business and a quadruple heart-bypass, still put in 120 hours a week and insisted on laying down the law in the kitchen. Despite doing the work of three men, Brian and his partner were $500,000 in debt, losing an additional $3,000 a week and facing bankruptcy within three months. This was a pub with ideas way above its station. The tables were set for the Queen and the complex menu boasted ostentatious dishes, all coated with Brian’s cloying signature sauces. Instead of a functioning kitchen crew, the kitchen was stuffed with Brian’s collection of novelty dinner plates and appliances bought from eBay. A year ago, Gordon’s campaign for real food and real gravy started to turn things around for the Fenwick Arms. But now that he’s returned, he finds morale at an all-time low, and Brian ready to throw in the towel.

Episode eight premieres Thursday, March 13, 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Some Hot New Shoes

Donald J. Pliner Wedge Thong Sandal

• Choose beige Napa (shown) or black patent (see below) leather.
• 2" hooded wedge heel; rubber sole.
• Made in Italy.

Foot Friendly: About Donald J. Pliner
From the very beginning (he launched his line in 1989), Donald J. Pliner has been devoted to designs that are both comfortable and chic. He calls it "high-fashion comfort" and refuses to believe that shoes can't be both stylish and wearable.

We adore Pliner shoes. Adore them. We have never bought them full price (think Nordie's rack and Ebay) and they don't disappoint. Even though we have a crapload of black sandals, we covet these. $245

Stuart Weitzman Elastic Wedge Thong

• Choose camel (shown) or black (see below).
• Leather and elasticized straps.
• 3/4" covered wedge.
• Made in Spain.

We would so wear these. But probably only in black. $230.

Stuart Weitzman Jeweled Wedge Thong

• Choose dark gold (shown) or black (see below) leather.
• Jeweled thong.
• Leather sole.
• Wedge heel, 3/4"H.

Here's a designer we like quite a bit. We actually have several pairs of Weitzman shoes. Our favorite salesperson ever is Jay at the Weitzman flagship store on Rodeo Drive. This thong retails for $285

Tory Burch Woven Patent Ballerina Flats

• Woven black patent leather.
• Silver-tone and black enamel medallion on vamp.
• Flat heel.
• Made in Brazil.

We are still mad at the CFO for talking us out of getting the most gorgeous supple pair of Tory Burch metallic flats at the Nordies Rack. They were only $69. Grrr. These pretty woven ones are $250.

Taryn Rose Glitter Wedge Sandal

• Gold Napa leather.
• Crisscross vamp.
• Ankle strap with adjustable buckle.
• 2 1/2" wrapped wedge heel with glitter detail.
• Leather sole with rubber insert.
• Imported.

At $245, this is a shockingly lower priced Taryn Rose Sandal. And we love a good quarter strap. That is our favorite kind of sandal strap (and we rarely wear any kind of closed shoes). So of all the "hot" new shoes, this is probably the only one we'd actually wear (but still not really be able to afford).

Christian Louboutin Suede Ballet Flat

• Choose fuchsia or navy suede.
• Crisscross vamp with keyhole.
• Flat heel.
• Signature red sole.
• Made in Italy.

Before we had the opportunity to actually try on an expensive pair of flats, we found flats in the affordable range (for us at least) to be just plain uncomfortable. It really is a fallacy that higher shoes are uncomfortable and flats are for kickin' around -- I love Seychelles and Rocket Dog and other mainstream lines, and they have many different styles of flats, but they're painfully uncomfortable and my heels keep slipping out. I always need a shoe with a strap of somekind, a variation on a Mary Jane. We had the opportunity to try on a pair of originally very pricey shoes (they were marked 80% on sale at DSW shoes and were still $120) and they were amazing. Soft, comfortable, and fit like the proverbial glove.

Manolo Blahnik Raffia Jeweled Sandal

• Gold raffia.
• Orange/clear/red jeweled detail on upper.
• Covered heel.
• "Raffia Jeweled Slide" is made in Italy.

These run small, says Neiman's website. You better get them to fit well, because these puppies are $930. You read that right. $930. Somehow we envision that whoever wears these (we'll probably see them in the Sex and City movie) as walking slightly awkwardly. Honestly, they don't seem that comfortable, or walkable, if there was such a word.

Yves St. Laurent Milonga Vernice Pump

• Gold patent leather.
• Skinny peep toe.
• Covered chunky 4 1/10" heel.
• Made in Italy.
We love the idea of a metallic dress shoe, or something fun to wear in Vegas (if we liked it there) or Palm Beach (if we ever go there). This pretty pump is $495

Yves St. Laurent Tribute Sandal

• Choose cobalt (blue, shown) or dark cuio (brown, see below).
• Gold-tone hardware.
• Strappy upper.
• Buckled ankle strap.
• Platform sole.
• 4 1/10" covered heel.
• Made in Italy.

The only creatures I can see wearing these towering beauties are the waifish Olsen Twins. They're also able to afford them, since they cost $780.

Frye Embroidered Riding Boot

• Choose cherry (red, shown) or black (see below) leather.
• Tonal embroidery on side.
• 1" stacked rubber heel.

This isn't likely to fit us, because the calves of the boots are probably too narrow. Still, they're pretty and look, potentially, like they could last a long time.

$650

Koolaburra Inc. Fleur-De-Lis Boots

• Black suede.
• Black fleur-de-lis leather appliqués with cream piping on back (see below).
• Logo tag on quarter (see below).
• Boot, approximately 14"H.
• Merino sheepskin lining.
• 3/4" lugged rubber platform sole.
• Imported.

Of course, we know there's something a little ridiculous and trendy about these $375 boots, but we love Fleur-de-Lis and it's pretty. They're like, yes, we would love them as a gift, but no, we wouldn't buy them.

British Invasion

It makes us wonder – aren’t there enough good actors in America that TV has to cull Britain’s acting pool.

Today we watched Eli Stone, a new ABC series (which is just eh, btw), and it stars the former Mr. Angelina Jolie, Jonny Lee Miller.

Beautiful Anna Friel, who is “Chuck” on Pushing Daisies, has made many films in her native accent.

Neither of the stars of Moonlight are American. Sophia Myles is English, and hottie star Alex O’Laughlin is an Aussie.

The star of NBC’s Life, Damien Lewis hails from – you guessed it. He was great as icky Soames Forsyte in the most recent Forsyte Saga. The star of the underrated Journeyman, Scot Kevin McKidd has the most dead-on American accent since Olivia d’Abo in Wonder Years.

The long-running CBS series Without a Trace stars two Aussies, Poppy Montgomery and Anthony LaPaglia. Marianne Jean-Baptiste (who BeansTalk saw once at the West L.A. Gyu-Ka-Ku) is English.

Meanwhile, the super short-lived Viva Laughlin (which was taken from the British series Viva Blackpool), featured a Brit star (London RADA trained Lloyd Owen) spouting an American accent.

The dreadful Cashmere Jungle (why does Lucy Liu still get work?) stars two wonderful actresses, Miranda Otto (actually an Aussie, as is Brothers and Sisters star Rachel Griffiths) and Frances O’Connor, who hails from Oxfordshire, England. Julian Ovenden, who plays O’Connor’s character’s “American” husband, is – big surprise – English.

Medium’s Jake Weber (plays husband to Patricia Arquette’s character) was born and raised in London and attended Middlebury college.

Weber’s (kind of) look-a-like, Linus Roache, a Manchester boy, just joined the cast of Law and Order as the new (New Yorker) attorney.

Did you know that Bionic Woman Michelle Ryan was a regular on EastEnders and Jeckyll? Bionic Woman was her first American (albeit Canadian-shot) series.

Chuck’s Sarah Walker, actress Yvonne Strahovski, is an Aussie.

Paul Blackthorne, who was American in Sci-Fi’s Dresden Files, as well as ABC’s defunct Big Shots, and is also in Lipstick Jungle, comes from Shropshire. Surprise! Blackthorne actually uses his real accent.

For four years, York (England)-native Mark Addy played the super American dad opposite Jami Gertz in “Still Standing.”

Born and bred Brit Greg Ellis of the upcoming Knight Rider has done quite a bit of U.S. television, including 24 and CSI.

Did you also know that Big Shots star Michael Vartan was born and raised in France, and only moved to the U.S. at 16? (OK, he’s not British, but he’s not American, either, and always plays them).

Matthew Rhys, who is Kevin on Brothers and Sisters, is from Cardiff, Wales and also studied at RADA (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts).

Emily Bergl, who plays spunky Annie on Men in Trees, is half English and Irish, but did move to the U.S. when she was a kid.

Nasty bully Ray Caldo of October Road is played by Warren Christie who was born in Ireland, but was raised in Canada (there are a lot of Canadians in American television, too).

Remember Saffron Burrows was Minnie Driver’s “bad” friend in Circle of Friends, where they all played Irish Lasses? Well, the too-thin Burrows, who now stars on Boston Legal, is a London native.

Undoubtedly we’ve forgotten someone, but trust us, it was NOT on purpose. Really. We mean it.

Colbert Rocked, Even Without Writers

While our beloved Daily Show seemed a tad off, Stephen Colbert (pronouncing his name in the non-French way) totally rocked the sans writer show. We were just thrilled he’s back – and he was damn funny, too.

Stephen Colbert of Comedy Central's 'The Colbert Report,' is shown in this May 8, 2006, file photo in New York. Jon Stewart of 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' and Stephen Colbert will be back on duty Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, ready to mock everything in sight. The pair, whose programs air weeknights back-to-back on Comedy Central, may find it far more demanding to adapt to the mandates of the striking Writers Guild of America.

Today's (Biggish) News

Something different for today, just a quick recap:

Nicole Kidman finally announced (via her rep) that she and her husband, singer Keith Urban, are expecting a baby.

Christina Aguilera is really (really) pregnant.

Tom Cruise and Scientology are super pissed about Andrew Morton's new book, due out 15 January. We think Morton went a little too far by saying that Suri was conceived using the sperm of L.Ron Hubbard.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were on the red carpet for the Critics Choice Awards -- they looked pretty. She kept her coat on and supposedly her boobs look bigger -- is she pregnant?

Jessica Seinfeld is being sued for copying someone else's cook book.

Britney Spears and her major meltdown continues -- she and her family dropped out of Dr. Phil.

Nicolette Sheridan and Michael Bolton were "nightmares" reports staff in St. Barts, where they vacationed (and were photographed often).

Katherine Heigl walked the red carpet with her new hubby to promote her new film, 27 Dresses.

Jamie Lynn Spears was photographed carrying a large GED prep book.

The Globes are going to be an hour-long press conference. Many parties have also been canceled.

Masterpiece Theater™ “The Complete Jane Austen ‘Pride and Prejudice’” (Part One) (#3805)
Sunday, February 10, 2008, 9:00-11:00 p.m. ET
With five daughters, no sons and an entailed estate, the elder Bennets are in dire straits as they try to arrange advantageous marriages. Wedding bells ring three times, but the path to true love is tortuous indeed. Colin Firth (Bridget Jones films) is Mr. Darcy and Jennifer Ehle (The Coast of Utopia) is Elizabeth Bennet in the definitive adaptation of the most-loved of all Austen novels. Part 1 of 3.

Hilton in Malandrino

You may have seen Paris partying with K-Fed and gasped, but what you should’ve really been eyeing is the dress she wore.

Paris Hilton hosted a party at LAX in Las Vegas wearing a dress from the Catherine Malandrino contemporary line. The socialite made a style statement in a multicolored sequin “I Love Paris” cocktail dress from Catherine Malandrino’s Holiday/Resort 2007 collection.

Very C.H.A.R.M.-ing

We found this very cool site – they have a huge collection of antique charms – amazing!

From their site:

Welcome to C.H.A.R.M, where Charms Have A Real Meaning. Jewelry design duo and mother/daughter team Leslie Slutsky & Lisa Slutsky Feldkamp founded C.H.A.R.M in 2001 when Leslie created the very first C.H.A.R.M bracelet as a gift for Lisa. Inspired by her own mother’s charm bracelet from the 1950’s, Leslie set out to design a bracelet for Lisa that would reflect her daughter’s unique personality.

Lisa was delighted by her bracelet filled with charms that represented so many significant parts of her life; a gold parakeet for her beloved childhood pet, a big red apple symbolizing her life in New York City, a birthday cake from her Grandmother’s own bracelet and a martini shaker for her favorite beverage were just a few of her special charms. Lisa wasn’t the only one that admired her bracelet; friends, neighbors, and complete strangers raved about her antique charms with their moveable pieces and detailed features. Thus C.H.A.R.M was born.

Today, C.H.A.R.M has amassed one of the largest vintage charm collections in the United States spanning every era from antique to deco to modern. Charms are lovingly collected from Leslie’s travels all over the world. In 2004, Leslie and Lisa started to take the designs they love most and reproduce them with the same handcrafted quality of vintage charms. C.H.A.R.M now manufactures over 300 of these heirloom quality “vintage inspired” 14k gold charms. Many have moveable elements or gemstones, enameling or a space to engrave that special name or date. The latest addition, baby c.h.a.r.m, was created for our own hoop earrings and features tiny charms with diamonds. C.H.A.R.M creates classic styles with a sense of humor and an eye on fashion.

C.H.A.R.M is dedicated to creating jewelry that is as unique as you are. Enter the world of C.H.A.R.M and you will find charms representing almost every facet of a woman’s life. Choose charms from categories such as Beauty & Fashion, Sports & Hobbies, Love & Luck, Pets & Animals and many more. And if you still can’t find what your looking for, contact Leslie and Lisa and they’ll find it for you. C.H.A.R.M’s commitment to customer service is unsurpassed because as Leslie says “Everyone deserves to be charmed”. New From kaplanMD

The area around the eyes is very delicate and one of the first places on the skin that shows signs of aging. When it comes to protecting our skin, it is important to use a separate eye cream to treat specific problems, as opposed to just an overall face cream.

The new kaplanMD Intensive Eye Cream is a nourishing emulsion that replenishes, restores and firms delicate skin around the eyes. Nutrient-rich marine extracts of Hawaiian Algae help inhibit collagen breakdown, increasing elasticity to help minimize fine lines and wrinkles. Antioxidants from Red Tea and Sweet Orange reduce puffiness up to 50% and stimulate microcirculation, while peptides fortify thin, translucent skin. A patented skin brightening complex diminishes dark circles and reduces redness. Nutrient rich avocado oil provides exceptional hydration, while Shiitake Mushroom extracts protect the extracellular matrix around the eyes for firmer, more youthful looking skin.

kaplanMD Intensive Eye Cream Key Ingredients:

Phytogenic Triactive Complex – An exclusive blend of Soy Isoflavones that firm and plump skin; Grapeseed Extract, a powerful antioxidant designed to fight free-radicals and exotic Black Cohosh, to help reverse the signs of skin aging.

Algisium C – Tightens the skin and lessens the appearance of wrinkles.

Flavagrum PEG – Derived from sweet orange. A cosmetic version of hesperetin, it provides tissue draining properties, stimulates microcirculation and diminishes under-eye bags.

Red Tea – Red tea is an antioxidant up to 50 times more potent than green tea, due to the high concentrations of Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD). SOD is an enzyme that protects oxidative damage which limits the effect of free radicals on the skin.

Hawaiian Sea Extract (Hawaiian Algae) – Provides superior lubricity and humectancy (ability to hold and retain water). It enhances the skin’s smoothness, reduces fine lines, improves skin firmness and elasticity, and soothes the skin.

Matrixyl 3000 – A synthetic peptide, Matrixyl 3000 increases the synthesis of the dermal matrix which is essential to preserving the skin’s youth. It diminishes wrinkles and restores the skin’s dermal matrix.

Haloxyl – An anti-inflammatory ingredient used to decrease pigmentation of the rings under the eyes.

MDI Complex – A collagenase inhibitor that helps slow skin aging and maintain younger looking skin. It helps reduce skin redness, the appearance of spider veins, and dark eye circles.

Dermaxyl – An anti-aging active ingredient consisting of ceramide 2 and polypeptide, which has proven wrinkle smoothing and skin barrier repair effect.

Lentinus Edodes Extract (FERMISKIN) – Obtained from Shiitake mushrooms and rich in oligosaccharies and galacturonic acids, it protects the skin’s extra cellular matrix from enzymatic breakdown by its anti-metallo-proteinase activity.

Oat Kernel Extract – A protein derived from oat kernels, this unique and original combination of oat bio-proteins and protein-polysaccharide polymers produces the triple action of nutrition, hydration and skin tension. It reduces the amount and depth of facial wrinkles, while smoothing the skin.
