Regina King, co-star of the Oscar-nominated film 'Ray,' poses with a pair of shoes designed and unveiled by shoe designer Stuart Weitzman before Weitzman's annual pre-Oscar party Thursday night, Feb. 24, 2005, at Christie's Auction House in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The pewter, 4.5" stilettos, which King will wear on the red carpet before Sunday Oscar's telecast, were designed using two earrings once owned by the late actress Marilyn Monroe. (AP Photo/Amy Sancetta) When the Oscars are over the actual shoes King wears (with a replica of the Monroe earrings), will go up for auction for charity. BeansTalk attended the dinner and was duly impressed.

King also stopped at the M Aesthetics Spa Suite at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel (the actual spa is located at 9201 Sunset Blvd, Ground Floor Los Angeles, California 90069) for the pre-Oscar suites.

Other stars who visited M Aesthetics Spa (which shared a suite with BeansTalk all-time favorites, Mario Badescu and Colorescience): Timilee Romolini (Lift6 facial –2/22), Patricia Heaton (2/23), Paula Abdul (2/24), Star Jones Reynolds (2/25), Debbie Monteopolous (2/25), Eva Longoria (2/25), Brini Maxwell, Natasha Henstridge, Peter Gallager (2/26), Robert Verdi (2/26), Angela Bassett (2/26), Kelly Hu (2/26).

The spa offered Cosmecanique, a non-surgical face-lift, via the Lift 6 Facial Machine manufactured by LFG One ($200 per session, at the salon – services at the suites were complimentary, of course), as well as Eyelash Extensions ($300, an hour-and-a-half session), and Airbrush Tanning, a Turbine Tan, created by Sun FX in Australia, all-natural, vegetable based ($45). The final treatment offered was Reflexology ($50).
