Discovery: Egyptologist Kent Weeks' discovery and possible identification of a skull he believes could be that of Rameses firstborn son, who may have been killed during the 10th plague described in Exodus. Discovery Channel funded Weeks' expedition, which blends archaeology, state-of-the-art digital technology and the latest in forensic science to determine the identity of the skull and its possible place in history. Weeks' findings, along with award-winning Middle Eastern correspondent Charles Sennott's epic travels across Egypt, are revealed in Rameses: Wrath Of God Or Man? scheduled to air during EGYPT WEEK on Sunday, December 5, 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. (ET/PT). Dr. Weeks and a crew of forensic scientists, historians and biblical scholars intent on learning more about the skull, and the possibility that its discovery and identification could offer a different perspective on the biblical story of Exodus.

In 1995, Dr. Weeks uncovered the main section of KV 5, a massive "lost tomb" in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings, a discovery hailed by many as the most important since King Tut. Subsequently, Dr. Weeks uncovered a skull in KV 5 that he believes could be that of the firstborn son of Rameses the Great, who has been referred to as the pharaoh depicted in Exodus. Purportedly ordered by God to allow the Israelites to leave Egypt, Rameses dared to resist. As his punishment, 10 terrible plagues came down upon the land, bringing destruction and pestilence. The final “and most deadly” was the 10th plague, which killed every Egyptian family’s firstborn male, including the pharaoh’s own beloved son. The skull in question shows signs of a violent death, leading experts to ponder, "Could Rameses' son have been killed not by the hand of God, but by the hand of man?"

Peanuts: United Media and JEM Sportswear are introducing a very special series of T-shirts that manage to be both fashion-forward and delightfully retro at the same time: Vintage Peanuts. These hip tops feature the rarely seen Peanuts images from the 1960s, a time when beloved cartoonist Charles Schulz was at his creative best. Now, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Linus, Lucy, Schroeder and the gang star in their own line of chic, contemporary designs available exclusively at Kitson. (They will also be available at Nordstrom and Lord & Taylor after the first of the year.) Kitson currently has the T-shirts featured in their window. Lindy Newton, star of the upcoming Hallmark TV special “Thicker than Water,” served as Kitson’s model. (Lindy’s credits also include “The Notebook” and “Radio.”)
