BeansTalk has seen a lot (and we're talking a whole bunch) of unique and intriguing jewelry. Yesterday (3 June 2005), at the Style Lounge at Chez Dean in Hollywood (we'll be rolling out new finds so keep checking back for the latest new trends), we met Bay Area-based desinger Melanie Macy. Macy, keeping company in the front of the lounge, along with her sister, Michelle, was showing off some of the most gorgeous and genuinely unique new rings. Her website features her collections (www.ringseclectic.com), but there's nothing like seeing these in person to truly appreciate them. Macy patented the mold, based on designs she admired created in early Bakelite. The result are a contemporary-with-a-vintage-twist cocktail rings that'll definitely turn attention to your hands. BeansTalk got one that's super cool, but not on the site to show off. Nevertheless, check out the rings in the above photo, as well as the rings on their site. Big, beautiful bling. Rings start at around $50 and are priced according to materials/design.
