Lisa Marie Presley will tour this summer to support her new Capitol album, Now What, which debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 in April. She’ll perform at the Pepsi 400 in
Capitol will take two new Presley singles to radio this July: "Thanx" will go for adds at the Hot AC radio format and "Idiot," which features Sex Pistols guitarist Steve Jones, will go to Top 40 radio. Presley recently performed "Idiot" on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."
Presley, who received the award for Best New Female Rock Vocalist at the American Society of Young Musicians' 13th Annual Spring Benefit Concert & Awards earlier this month, will be the subject of a VH1 "(Inside) Out" documentary, which premieres Wednesday, July 6, 2005 (BeansTalk Note: Also the birthday of our Chairman of the Board).
