Bling it On!

BeansTalk has always wanted a crystal-frosted phone. At one point, when we had our "Night at The Roxbury" phone, we had it painted and in the process they added a tiny bit of bling (we're talking six randomly placed rhinestones). That company, once on the Venice Boardwalk, is now at Hollywood and Highland in a kiosk. They do good work, we can vouch for it. The reason we had that phone done was because we'd lost our fancy Nextel and had to get an older model on Ebay. It came working, scratched and way too big for the average purse.

That might be all TMI, but we've longed to have one of those super girly phones we see others carrying around. Now we have one (sort of; we "bling'd" the leather cover to our Motorola V710 and want to do it over again -- now that we have a feel for it -- so we actually went on-line and ordered a couple more kits).

Bling it On! is a cute little kit which features various patterns (we actually go the chevron pattern seen above) in an array of colors. You cut to fit your phone. Voila! A bling'd out phone is born. From what we can tell, not only is it less than 10% of the professionally created models (and you don't need to give up your phone for the three day to one-week turnaround), but the crystals seem to adhere as well.
