Frankie Muniz
Muniz Lands “Sexiest Year”
Frankie Muniz of “Agent Cody Banks” and “Malcolm In The Middle” will star in the upcoming coming-of-age comedy "My Sexiest Year," which begins shooting in South Beach, Florida, where the film is set, in Spring 2006. Frankie will play Jake Stein, a young man who in the winter of his 17th year moves from Brooklyn to South Beach to live with his estranged father and in the process meets and falls in love with his dream girl, the first-ever swimsuit cover model.
The film reunites Frankie Muniz with producer Michael Cerenzie. At 12, Muniz was featured in Cerenzie's 50’s New York-gang themed “Deuces Wild." Cerenzie is producing the film with Belle Avery on behalf of NOVA Entertainment (which is also financing the picture) and in association with producer Merlin Reaume. “My Sexiest Year” was written and will be directed by Howard Himelstein who previously wrote “ A Good Woman” with Scarlett Johanssen for Lion’s Gate Films.
Casting is set to begin to find the actress to play Muniz’ beautiful love interest.
