Sundance Film Fest's Gifting Lounge
In between film screenings and trudging through the frozen tundra, Sundance Film Festival guests were invited to Alive! Expo Green Pavilion/MixMedia Luxury Lounge at the Sundance Film Festival, which featured new "green" products, organic spa treatments and what the event's rep calls "eco treats."
Guests included Kevin Sorbo, Jill Zarin (Real Housewives of Orange County), Laura Herring (Mulholland Drive), James Kyson-Lee (Heroes), AJ Buckly (CSI: NY), Beth Stolarczyk (Real World), Clayne Crawford (24), actor Adam Scarimbolo, Diego Luna (Milk/Y Tu Mama Tambien), Hakeem Kae Kazime (24), actor/producer Tom Malloy, Walter Perez (Fame), voice-actor Greg Finely (Lilo & Stitch), Fagun Thakrar (Brick Lane), Heather Kafka (Huff) and others.
Featured at the lounge were multi-colored stone jewelry by Southern California native Michelle Abogado, Virtual Golf Girl designs, Aubrey Organics, 30-minute facials from Dr. Bennett’s anti-aging collagen mask, and the T-Zone Vibration Machine, which reps claim to "shake off those extra pounds." Explorer’s Bounty provided fruit chips, chocolates, coffee and tea. At happy hour, guests were offered Maestro Dobel Diamond Tequila.
ALIVE! Expo Green Pavilion guests participated in Project Green Celebrity Photo Shoot (Project Green – non-profit 501c3 – www.projectgreenusa.org), a new non-profit foundation that raises money for kids to attend eco-friendly summer camps. Guests were also asked to share their “going green” thoughts and tips on camera with NVALEO Enrichment System.
