Parker and HBO Strike Deal
HBO and Sarah Jessica Parker signed a two-year, exclusive-to-television deal for Parker to develop and produce series and long-form programming for HBO through her production company, Pretty Matches Productions.
"I'm overjoyed to be able to officially call HBO my creative home, and I'm excited to continue one of the most rewarding and inspiring collaborations I've had the privilege to experience," says Parker.
Parker was honored this year with an Emmy for Best Actress for HBO’s series "Sex and the City," which she also executive produced. She won Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2004, as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award in 2001. The show, which received the Golden Globe Award for Outstanding Comedy Series three years in a row, was also honored with an Emmy(r) for Outstanding Comedy Series in 2001.
Parker is currently filming "The Family Stone" for director Thomas Bezucha. Her other upcoming film projects include "Failure to Launch" and "Love Walked In."
