Actor Ben Koldyke, who BeansTalk recognized from both "Big Love" (he played Albie's ill-fated lover) and "How I Met Your Mother" (he was Robin's co-anchor who became her boyfriend), had lunch today at Venice's famed Rose Cafe. He is crazy handsome in real life, btw. He was previously a school teacher and coach who sold a couple of scripts, and while interviewing for a writer's job, was asked to read for an on-screen role. Thus, Koldyke's acting career inadvertently began.
