Get Maria Bello’s Look
For promotions for her latest film, “Prisoners,” in which she stars opposite Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal, Maria Bello turned to the fella who BeansTalk believes is the best living make-up artist today: Nick Barose (who happens to be an amazing photographer, too).
Barose shares secrets about how to get her look: “Maria Bello’s sexy smoky eyes, [can be achieved] quick[ly] and mess free, avoiding [the usual pitfalls, with] all the black powder shadows [that] fall under the eyes.
I apply the Talika The Eye mask under her eyes, to add hydration.
While [the mask’s] on, I created the smoky eyes using long-wearing black-liner pencil ( VV Le Jolie in Charbon).
Instead of using the powder eyeshadow dry, which can fall and crumble, I wet the brush and used the shadow wet, so it goes on creamier and won't fall (Dolce Gabbana Shadow in Femme Fatale); this way, I can finish [both] eyes quick[ly] without worrying about the mess. If [either] the bottom lashes’ mascara [or the] powder fall[s] then, the eye mask catches it.
I then peel it off, and apply foundation and concealer under her eyes.”
Thanks for the tip, Nick!

He Lies, He Kills, But Other Than That He’s Perfect!
AN ANONYMOUS ADVICE COLOMNIST FINDS HERSELF CAUGHT IN AN UNLIKELY ROMANCE WITH A MAN WHO HAS BEEN HIRED TO KILL HER ALTO EGO IN
PLEASE KILL MR. KNOW IT ALL
– MAKING DEBUT ON DVD FROM MONARCH VIDEO HOME ENTERTAINMENT NOVEMBER 26
A combo of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Smith’ and ‘Confessions of a Shopaholic,’ cynical Sally (LARA JEAN CHOROSTECKI, NBC’s ‘Hannibal’) lives a life free of excitement and romance and that’s just the way she likes it! Although she’d like to be a novelist, she makes ends meet ghostwriting a local advice column under the pseudonym Mr. Know it All. But, after a celebrity endorsement (COLIN MOCHRIE of “Whose Line is it Anyway’ and TOM WILSON) turns her column into an overnight success, the newspaper requests a photo of the author from Sally’s best friend and agent, Patti (KRISTINA PESIC, ‘Scott Pilgrim vs. The World,’ ‘The Vow’). Sally decides to submit a sketch of Albert (JEFFERSON BROWN, 2013’s ‘Carrie,’ ‘Red’), a handsome stranger she spots in a movie theatre who just so happens to be a contract killer. Once the picture is published, Albert cannot walk down the street without being recognized, and so, for the sake of his livelihood, he decides he must kill MR. KNOW IT ALL.
PLEASE KILL MR. KNOW IT ALL makes its DVD debut November 26 on the Monarch Home Entertainment label. “The title and basic plot might throw you off, but this is a romantic comedy with a smart script that doesn't insult your intelligence. Even if you don't like romantic comedies, you can like this movie — and score brownie points with someone who does like this genre,” saysCanadian Crossing.
While Albert is determined to meet Mr. know it all, Sally wants to conduct a hidden camera interview with Albert to satisfy the press’s need to know more about the popular columnist. But, as Albert and Sally begin to spend more and more time together, ulterior motives quickly turn into mutual attraction and Sally decides to confess that she is Mr. Know it All. At this point, Albert doesn’t’ know whether to kiss her or kill her and his seeming indifference causes her to push him away. Soon, the girlfriend of Albert’s mob boss (AL SAPIENZA, ‘House of Cards,’ ‘Margin Call’) decides to pack up and leave after reading an inspiring newspaper column and Albert finds himself contracted to kill the author Mr. Know it All. Albert is torn between love and responsibility. Will Albert do the hit? Or will they find happiness in the end? Can they outwit the mob? Will the one-legged man find revenge?
Written by Sandra Feldman, PLEASE KILL MR. KNOW IT ALL is directed by Feldman and Colin Carter.
