Edmiston's Wedding Guest Dresses
Aussie Leona Edmiston has designed dresses worn by Sophie Okonedo, Elle MacPherson, and Kristin Davis and her new line introduces dresses perfect for wedding guests. As shown above, an Italian jersey chain print in tones of caramel and chocolate is a great alternative to the traditional floral print. The print is rendered in many styles both long and short, from halter to sheath, all complemented by straps and other details in watermelon, spring pea or teal. Mix black with colors and it can be worn to a wedding says Edmiston, noting her sleeveless black jersey dress with its twirly skirt, demure boatneck – and deep V back banded in coral. Built-in jewelry is another feature of her designs, from a Gucci-esque black shift with pink and green piping and its own Swarovski circle brooch to a pearl-trimmed empire chiffon number in mermaid green.
