Color Splash Extended

HGTV’s weekly series Color Splash, featuring David Bromstad, has been extended for 26 episode.

Designer and host of Color Splash since March 2007, Bromstad shows viewers to use color to embolden, enliven and invigorate their spaces.

As an artist who attended Florida's Ringling School of Art and Design, Bromstad knows his color palettes. In each episode, Bromstad’s artistic visions, from sketch pad to real-world design are depicted. I

Bromstad meets with homeowners and thoroughly examines their homes, from existing furniture and accessories to clothing, which gives Bromstad a sense of colors that inspire the homeowners.

Bromstad’s designs are not only functional, but always feature his trademark, that inspiration in an unpredictable use of color. Some clients receive a piece of Bromstad’s custom artwork.

Produced by Edelman Productions, Color Splash showcases Bromstad who was selected as the winner of the first HGTV Design Star competition in 2006. All new episodes of the half-hour series air Saturdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT.

Following up on the success of Bromstad and subsequent winners of HGTV Design Star, HGTV is currently in production for season four of the top-rated design competition which will premiere Sunday, July 19 at 10 p.m. ET.
