The Jonas Brothers on The CW
The Jonas Brothers host a night of CW programming, for The CW’s 90210 and Privileged on Tuesday, February 10, 2009 (8 to 10 p.m. ET).
They’ll also show a sneak peak of their new film, “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience,” in theaters February 27, 2009.
Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas will be joined by 90210 star Jessica Lowndes for promos and never-before-seen footage. The brothers discuss working in 3D, and show a clip of the group performing their song “Tonight.”
“Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience” is a Walt Disney Pictures rockumentary feature film event from director Bruce Hendricks (“Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert”). The film blends excerpts from the Brothers’ “Burning Up” concert tour, including guest performances from Demi Lovato and Taylor Swift, with behind-the-scenes footage, , a never-before-heard song (“Love Is On Its Way”), fans and JB-style humor—giving fans insights into the lives of Kevin, Joe and Nick.
The Jonas Brothers’ meteoric rise has been nothing less than a pop culture phenomenon. They were Grammy®-nominated as Best New Artist in 2008. The same year, they won six Teen Choice Awards, including Summer Song for “Burnin’ Up,” Male Hottie, Music Breakout Group, Red Carpet Icon, and Music Love Song and Music Single for “When You Look Me in the Eyes.” In August of 2008, the brothers’ latest album, “A Little Bit Longer,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 during the filming of the movie and quickly went platinum. During the same week the album debuted, the soundtrack to “Camp Rock” featuring the Jonas Brothers was at No. 8 on the chart and Jonas Brothers’ eponymous CD was at No. 10, marking the first time an artist had held three titles in the top 10 in Sound Scan history. They also appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, which became the top-selling issue of 2008.
