Lobotomy

On March 22, 2010, PBS will air The Lobotomist: An American Experience (9 to 10 p.m.). The lobotomy, which began as an operation of last resort, was soon being performed at some 50 state asylums, often with devastating results. This program tells the gripping tale of medical intervention gone awry.
