Good Charlotte Now On Capitol

Good Charlotte signed to Capitol Records and will be releasing their fifth full-length album Cardiology on October 26, 2010, 10 years after their self-titled debut. Originally formed as a pop-punk band in Waldorf, Maryland, in 1996, Good Charlotte—vocalist Joel Madden, guitarist Benji Madden, guitarist Billy Martin, bassist Paul Thomas and recent edition, drummer Dean Butterworth—have sold more than 10 million records and wrote radio hits such as "The Anthem," "Lifestyles Of The Rich & Famous" and "Hold On."

The band supported Justin Timberlake on his FutureSex/LoveShow tour, collaborated with Avenged Sevenfold's M. Shadows and Synyster Gates on their single "The River" from Good Charlotte's 2007 full-length Good Morning Revival.

Cardiology, an album that features the dance floor-friendly first single "Like It’s Her Birthday" and "Silver Screen Romance."

Good Charlotte recently wrapped up a two-month run on the Bamboozle Roadshow alongside Boys Like Girls, All Time Low, Third Eye Blind and Simple Plan and in July opened for Pink's stadium tour in Europe before appearances this fall with a full US tour early next year.
