Turner Network Television (TNT) is shooting for the stars this October, when the network presents the commercial television debut of one of the most honored miniseries of all time: the HBO original production FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON, it was announced by Ken Schwab, senior vice president of programming for TNT and TBS. This production from executive producer Tom Hanks tracks the history of the Apollo program, which resulted in the first human setting foot on the moon. "FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON set a new standard for television miniseries, thanks to its unprecedented quality of production, writing, directing and cast," said Schwab. We are proud to be able to present this landmark production."
