Who’s Wearing What: l Erika Christensen, who will star in the upcoming The Upside of Anger with Kevin Costner, will wear a Monique Lhuillier outfit to the Collateral premiere tonight. She’ll wear a navy satin halter top with lace trim and classic cream tuxedo pants. To top off her look, she’ll carry a navy clutch and intricate crystal bracelet from Daniel Swarovski Paris and a pair of navy crystal drop earrings from Swarovski.

The Music to Play L.A.: The Music will be playing in Los Angeles on Monday, August 16, 2004 at The Troubadour on their return from Japan where they will be playing at The Summer Sonic festival. The Music's second US release, "Welcome to The North," will be released on October 19, 2004.

Lynn in Country BioPic: Capitol recording artist and Grammy winner Shelby Lynne is set to make her film debut in Walk The Line, a major motion picture based on the life of Johnny Cash. The Fox Searchlight film starring Reese Witherspoon and Joaquin Phoenix and directed by James Mangold (Girl, Interrupted) is currently filming in Memphis. Lynne has been tapped to play Cash's mother. <>

After she wraps shooting in Memphis, Shelby will play a few select dates. She has also been asked to perform with her mentor George Jones when he tapes a "Soundstage" episode for PBS this September. Shelby's own "Soundstage" performance, paired with a Counting Crows segment, will air on PBS on Thursday, August 26, 2004 (check local listings for time). <>

On September 24, 2004, Lynne will appear with Tony Joe White at the Americana Honors & Awards in Nashville. The pair will perform "Can't Go Back Home," a song they co-wrote for White's upcoming album. The event will conclude the Americana Music Association Conference. <>

Shelby Lynne has started work in a Los Angeles studio with producer John Porter (Elvis Costello, Ryan Adams, The Smiths, Roxy Music) on the follow up to last year's Identity Crisis. Turner Network Television (TNT) is shooting for the stars this October, when the network presents the commercial television debut of one of the most honored miniseries of all time: the HBO original production FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON, it was announced by Ken Schwab, senior vice president of programming for TNT and TBS. This production from executive producer Tom Hanks tracks the history of the Apollo program, which resulted in the first human setting foot on the moon. The groundbreaking miniseries, produced by Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Michael Bostik, with Graham Yost and John Melfi co-producing, will kick off Friday, Oct. 1, at 9 p.m. (ET/PT) and climax with an all-day marathon of all 12 episodes Sunday, Oct. 3.

"FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON set a new standard for television miniseries, thanks to its unprecedented quality of production, writing, directing and cast," said Schwab. "It set the stage for how many miniseries are being produced today, including TNT's own upcoming Into the West, executive produced by Steven Spielberg, set to premiere next year. We are proud to be able to present this landmark production."

Originally telecast on HBO in 1998, FROM THE EARTH TO THE MOON was produced with the complete participation of NASA, including the use of NASA equipment, launch locations and spacecraft. The miniseries was nominated for 17 Emmys, winning the top prize for Outstanding Minseries. It also won the Golden Globe and Golden Satellite Awards for Best Miniseries, as well as awards from the Broadcast Film Critics Association and the Television Critics Association.

Part 1

Part 8-We Interrupt This Program: The seemingly indifferent media is galvanized when a disaster occurs aboard Apollo 13. Jay Mohr stars, with David Frankel directing.

Part 9-For Miles and Miles: Alan Shepherd returns to the manned program after being grounded for years. Gary Fleder directs.

Part 10-Galileo Was Right: The Apollo 15 astronauts are put through the grinder as they train in lunar field geology. David Carson directs.
