"Reveal"ing New Series

BBC America Reveals is a brand-new weekly documentary slot starting this June, Sunday nights at 10:00 p.m. Packed with intriguing celebrity profiles, Royal specials and real-life stories, this new programming block shines a light on contemporary Britain.

The first story, The Real Queens of England, reveals the true stories of men who love glitter and glamour. The documentary follows a collagen-lipped mother’s boy, a man whose wife of twenty years doesn’t mind his sequin-studded gowns, a very fussy fashion stylist who pitches a fit on camera and political correspondent Pink Peter, a ladies’ man who, in his pink Mercedes, out-pinks even Barbie. But men with powder puffs are not all necessarily gay — find out all about the beautifully camp men of Britain.

The Real Queens of England premieres Sunday, June 3, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

On Father’s Day, BBC AMERICA looks into the relationship between two internationally famous men who happen to be father and son. Charles & William: Royal Rivals? is a special look at Prince Charles and Prince William — both future Kings of England. The documentary explores the close relationship they enjoy, but also their surprisingly different upbringings and outlooks on life. Will William’s character and public opinion lead to William ascending to the throne ahead of his father, creating a damaging rivalry?

Charles & William: Royal Rivals? premieres Sunday, June 17, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Love Me, Love My Doll focuses on a group of men who have fallen in love with their life-size dolls, called “Real Dolls.” For these men, their $10,000 lifelike, built-to-order creations have replaced human women. Get personal with these men as they welcome you into their homes and give you a peek at their lives with synthetic dreamgirls.

Love Me, Love My Doll premieres Sunday, June 24, 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.
