Over-the-Knee And Into the Woods
Kate Hudson is seen in the above image sporting trendy over-the-knee boots at a recent trip to LAX. Hudson chose Stuart Weitzman's Mezzo in black suede ($535). With her big sunshades and an airport staffer to roll her carry-on to her gate, she looks like quite the movie star, no?
This is a showy, pirate-y look anyway, and frankly, probably looks best on a tall thin person. We like the look -- but on other people. We're short and round and have an absolute penchant for taking off our shoes and these tall tall boots look like that would take a lot of effort.
Still if you really want it -- they're probably comfortable (suede gives nicely and molds to your feet; and these are all low-heeled) -- go for it.
