 New on HGTV

During the run of the reality competition, HGTV Design Star, HGTV will preview five new series. From Monday, July 18, through August 22, 2011 at 10 p.m. ET/PT, HGTV Design Star will serve as a springboard for the sneak peek episodes of Selling LA, The High Low Project, Donna Decorates Dallas, Dina’s Party, featuring event planner and former Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member Dina Manzo, and a revamped Design on a Dime with former HGTV Design Star finalist Casey Noble.

In addition, the network also will premiere new episodes of two existing series: Home By Novogratz and HGTV’d.

Selling LA
Premieres Monday, July 18, at 10 p.m. ET/PT

In The High Low Project, host and designer Sabrina Soto proves that room design can look luxurious without a steep price tag. First, Sabrina will create the homeowners’ dream room with exquisite furniture, wall coverings and window treatments. Then, step by step, she will replace the high-end items with budget-friendly finds that replicate the opulent look. In the end, the last item is swapped out and the family discovers they can live in style and love it without breaking the bank.

Donna Decorates Dallas
Premieres Monday, August 8, at 10 p.m. ET/PT
When Dallas homeowners feel the need to bling out their lavish houses, they count on
former HGTV Design Star finalist Donna Moss to bring the glitz. During this new design series, HGTV will follow Donna and her daughters Tiffany and Ashley, as they bring dramatic designs to Dallas.

Dina’s Party
Premieres Monday, August 15, at 10 p.m. ET/PT
Dina Manzo, the interior designer and special events planner who first captured America’s imagination in Real Housewives of New Jersey, will bring her lavish and sumptuous events to HGTV in this new weekly party-planning series. During each episode, Dina and the staff of her company Design Affairs will create magnificent events in their clients’ homes. Whether it’s a posh baby shower, an over-the-top fantasy wedding or a grand graduation party, Dina will transform any space into something breathtakingly beautiful and unique. With her extraordinary talents, Dina will make every occasion a perfect celebration for the important moments in a family’s life.

Design on a Dime
Premieres Monday, August 29, at 11:30 p.m. ET/PT
Former HGTV Design Star finalist Casey Noble brings her clever design ideas to a viewer favorite, Design on a Dime. Casey demonstrates smart cost-saving ideas and innovative design solutions to prove that beautiful rooms don’t have to be expensive.

Robert and Cortney Novogratz, the husband and wife design team who juggle seven children and dozens of clients, believe that good taste doesn’t require deep pockets. In each episode of HGTV’s Home By Novogratz, the couple takes on a new residential design project and creates wildly original spaces that showcase a funky, downtown-chic aesthetic and unpretentious design sensibility. For their clients, the Novogratz pull together an eclectic mix of shopping finds and then present a spectacular custom room that surpasses every expectation.
