The Alive! Expo Green Pavilion held its Oscar’s gifting suite, sponsored by Fortune Angels, to benefit the non-profit organization Project Green. The gifting took place at the Peterson Automotive Museum Penthouse Oscar weekend with live entertainment, eco-education and eco-friendly goodies.

One of the founders and part owner of Alive! Expo Green and Project Green talked to BeansTalk about their non-profit organization. “We have been doing these events with our for-profit which is our Alive! Expo Green Pavilion and we converted the event so that all the benefits can go towards Project Green and we can launch our summer camp.”

The eco-conscious event kicked off with the young tween rock band: Lockdown.  And live music continued through out the event with performances by: Coin, Jason Walker, Tessa Barton, Victoria Rowe & The Jazz, Armada, Kerri Anne, Jon Taylor, Christopher Hawley and Major Crooner.

A variety of sponsors were at the gifting; from beauty products to organic doggie treats. Beauty products were provided by Pixi Beauty (www.pixibeauty.com), Ferro Cosmetics (www.ferrocosmetics.com), and Glitzy Lips, seen above (www.glitzylips.com) who caught everyone’s attention with eye-popping foil lipstick that has been rocked by celebrity Katy Perry. Taste buds were also satisfied with tasty cupcakes from Birdie’s Bakery (www.monamievents.com) and refreshing vegan ice cream from Divine Dips (www.divinedipsicecreme.com).

Janna Phillips (seen above), creator of “Bohmod” eco-friendly furniture, decorated the fun and modern lounge with pieces made out of foam. Janna defines her style as regenerating, “I try to utilize whatever I can find so that the end result and the process you used to make it has less of an impact to landfill and foam will eventually disintegrate to nothing.” www.bohmod.com
