Golden Globe 2013 Winners

The Winners!

Best Actress, Television Comedy, Lena Dunham, star of HBO's "Girls"

BeansTalk note: It was surprising and amazing that Lena Dunham won over Tina Fey, Amy Poehler, Zoey Deschanel and Julia Louis-Dreyfus -- who are all flippin' amazing -- but fun to watch her incredibly awkward walk to the stage [clearly the Globes' folks didn't think she had a hope in Hell, seating her so far away]. Still, we adore Dunham and were happy she got the recognition she deserved -- and also loved that she thanked Chad Lowe, later explaining that it was because his then-wife Hillary Swank famously forgot to in her 2000 Oscar-win speech.

On another note, we're finding it very challenging to give credence to an organization that gives Kevin Costner [!] a "Best Actor" award. Foreign press -- what are you thinking??

And, because we love them so, here are pics of our favorite hosts, Tina Fey and Amy Poelher:

(Yes, we know this is a pic from the Oscars. But they're the cutest couple, we had to include this, too.)

And, for good measure, a parting shot (of which they gave many).
