Tadashi Shoji, internationally renowned fashion designer and long-time Pasadena resident, was the official designer for the
Pasadena Tournament of Roses, creating custom gowns for the Rose Queen and the six members of her Royal Court. Each Rose Princess wore a flame crepe back satin one shoulder gown with flounce detail and embellished shoulder. The 2013 Rose Queen, Vanessa Manjerrez, wore the same gown in winter white, a Royal Court tradition.
The 124th Rose Parade themed –
Oh, the Places You’ll Go! - will take place on Tuesday, January 1st, 2013, at 8:00 A.M. (PST), and will feature its traditional array of majestic floral floats, high-stepping equestrian units and spirited marching bands. For more information, please visit www.tournamentofroses.com
