Bonnie Raitt Tours North America

Third North American Leg Of Tour Kicks Off On June
15th; KebMo scheduled To Open ; Raitt Performs On Late
Night with Conan OBrien June 27th

Road Tested was the apt title for longtime road
warrior Bonnie Raittt's 1995 live double album and
film, and the title is more than a catch phrase to the
nine-time Grammy winner its a way of life. For
every album she releases, the true test for Raitt is
how the songs come across live. In the case of her
latest CD, Souls Alike, her new material has elicited
resoundingly rave reviews. Raitt began her current
tour last October following the debut of Souls Alike
at #19 on the Billboard 200 and fans will be happy to
hear she doesnt plan to wrap it up anytime soon. In
fact, after a series of spring dates in the U.K. and
Europe, she'll embark on the third North American leg
of the tour on June 15th. And, in classic Raitt
fashion, shell be bringing along another one of her
favorite songwriters to open: Keb Mo.

Fellow Grammy-winning
singer/songwriter/guitarist,
Keb Mo will join Raitt
as her very Special Guest on the next swing of the
Souls Alike Tour. His highly anticipated eighth studio
album, SUITCASE, is slated for release June 13th on
the Epic/RED label. Raitt and
Keb Mo have performed
frequently on record and tours together, including his
recent guest appearance on Raitt's episode of VH1
Classic's new live concert series Decades Rock Live!
airing on the network throughout April and May. These
artists are thrilled to be working together again and
are planning some exciting duets for the upcoming
tour.

Raitt will play a series of U.S. festivals in June
before meeting up with
Keb Mo on June 20th in Atlanta,
GA. Tour highlights include a stop at Central Park's
Summer Stage in New York on June 28th and a show at
the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on September 9th.
Prior to the New York show, Raitt will perform on
Late Night with Conan OBrien on June 27th.

Raitt makes you love her, time and again, said the
Boston Herald in a recent live review. The New York
Times praised her "aching lyrical interpretations"
while Portland's Oregonian said "On every tune, she
radiated a warmth and elegance, a deep musical
sentience, that few singers can match, be it blues,
pop, soul or her own funky rock."

Billboard.com noted, Raitt's 19-song, 100-minute
[set ]was a testament to her enduring creative
vitality. She played seven songs from the
self-produced Souls Alike, three of them right off
the bat with the smooth 'n' slinky Love on One
Condition (written by keyboardist Jon Cleary), the
moody God Was in the Water which featured one of
Raitt's arrestingly supple slide guitar solos -- and
the anthemic I Will Not Be Broken.

I Will Not Be Broken, the album's first
single, was a Top 5 hit at AAA radio and earned Raitt
a Grammy nomination for Best Female Pop Vocal
Performance. The follow-up single is I Don't Want
Anything To Change, a stark, fragile reflection on a
fading relationship written by Maia Sharp, Liz Rose
and Stephanie Chapman. (Sharp opened for Raitt on many
of last fall's dates.)

Raitt recently performed on CMT's
Crossroads with another songwriter whose work she
was an early champion of Lyle Lovett. Since the
release of Souls Alike, she has also appeared on The
Tonight Show With Jay Leno, "The Late Show With David
Letterman," "Good Morning America", CBS Sunday
Morning, VH1/VH1 Classic's "Decades Rock Live!" "The
View," The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dr. Phil, The
Tavis Smiley Show and A&E's "Breakfast with the
Arts." She also performed on the 48th Annual GRAMMY
Awards telecast in February.

While on the road this summer, she will be a presenter
at the 2006 Rhythm and Blues Foundation's Pioneer
Awards in Philadelphia on June 29th. (Raitt is a
co-founder of the organization, which works to improve
royalties, financial conditions and recognition for
R&B pioneers.)
