Intervention: Real Estate Style
Just when you thought there simply couldn't be another version of how to sell your house...HGTV introduces a new reality series, Real Estate Intervention.
In this current real estate market, pricing is everything. And the best way to really find out how much your house is worth is to check out the competition. Real Estate Intervention takes motivated sellers on a tour of three other listings in the same area and same price range. They'll get to see firsthand who their competition is and whether they've priced their house right. Does the competition have better closets? Granite counters? A bigger backyard? Which home is the best value for the dollar? This show helps sellers determine the best way to get top dollar — and in the end we'll see which home sells first.
This "no-nonsense" real estate program will tell it like it is -- with a straight-talkin' expert, DC & Baltimore area real estate expert Mike Aubrey -- who admits he's about as "soft as an eight-pound sledge hammer."
"But if you can handle the truth, you can handle me." Aubrey knows his stuff and he doesn't sugarcoat it, using a kind of "tough love," wake-up call approach that should get the job done.
Some listen, some don't. Airs Thursdays at 10:30 p.m. PT/ET and 9:30 p.m. C on HGTV.
