Shenker Live: The Michael Schenker Group Worldwide Live 2004 Available on DVD
October 5, 2004 Through Music Video Distributors.

Michael Schenker's reputation as the ''Master of the flying V", the "Mad Axeman" and the "Teutonic Guitar God" has followed him throughout the years as he's been invited to audition for the Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Deep Purple, and Ozzy Osbourne. He's appeared on two albums by Germany's Scorpions, recorded seven studio albums, and one classic live set as a member of British melodic metal masters UFO. He's also led The Michael Schenker Group for over 23 years; with 11 studio albums and 6 live sets to his credit.
Schenker's rapid melodic technique, tonal quality and dynamic approach have made him hard to place into any one genre. While his style leans toward heavy metal, his sharp riffs and inventive solos rely on harmony as well as elemental blues scales. It's a definitive sound that has become highly influential through the years.

This DVD features a supreme performance by The Michael Schenker Group at Metalmania Festival 2004. The track list includes highlights of all stages of Schenker's career: from UFO hits, through MSG classic tracks, to his solo compositions! This classic collector's item includes a 25-minute interview in which Michael talks about his whole career.

· Airs Monday, August 30, 8-9 PM ET/PT

· The gals from “Laverne & Shirley,” Penny Marshall and Cindy Williams, reunite to host the one-hour special “TV’s Greatest Sidekicks,” scheduled to air in August 2004. Many of the original stars of classic sitcoms -- including Bea Arthur, Betty White, Rue McClanahan, Fran Drescher, Judith Light, Valerie Harper, Marla Gibbs, Jackee Harry and Renee Taylor -- will gather together again for a rare reunion with their sidekick. They may not have worked together for many years, but once re-united, time stands still as they reminisce about working to create the role models they became for women of all generations. From “I Love Lucy” to “Will & Grace” to “The Mary Tyler Moore Show,” women on TV sitcoms have inspired and supported each other to create laughter, lunacy and love. Whether playing family members, friends or even “friendly” foes, these stars have forged a special bond with fans and each other as a “sidekick.”
