Country Superstars: Singer-songwriter Travis Tritt was just finishing his set in Missoula, MT on Sunday, July 11, 2004 when Hank Williams Jr. joined him on stage. The 25 minute encore had the two performing together on classics by ZZ Top, Georgia Satellites, Johnny Cash and Lynyrd Skynyrd as well as an impromtu jam of some music that Hank started making up on the spot. With the crowd on its feet, the Adams Center erupted with amazement at this once in a life time moment.

Travis is on tour to support his upcoming release “My Honky Tonk History,” set to be released August 17th. It features a song co-written by Sony label mate Gretchen Wilson and a duet with John Mellencamp. The first single, “The Girl’s Gone Wild,” is currently climbing up the charts and was most recently heard on Paris Hilton’s and Nicole Richie’s hit FOX reality show, “Simple Life 2.” The latest episode finds the girls in Louisiana and features Travis’ raucous song to help narrate Paris and Nicole providing their expert guidance to a 13-year-old girl who is looking for her first date. Epsiode 5 premiered on Wednesday, July 7th and was the ranked as the #1 viewed program on the Network for the week as well as #11 of all programs on all networks.
