Who’s Wearing What: Lake Bell wore a black top with crystal beads by designer Elie Saab to ABC’s All Star Summer Party on Tuesday, July 13, 2004 in Los Angeles. This top is part of the Elie Saab Pret-A-Porter collection. Elie Saab is based in Beirut, Paris and Milan. He has been a popular figure on the international fashion scene since dressing Halle Berry in 2002 for the first of two consecutive Academy Awards ceremonies. He shows his couture collection in Paris as a member of the Chambre Syndicale, and his ready-to-wear collection is presented in Milan where that collection is produced. His ready-to-wear is sold at select Neiman Marcus stores nationwide.

Stephanie Niznik wore Nicole Miller to the WB 2004 TCA All-Star Party in Los Angeles, as part of the TCA (Television Critics Association) Summer Tour.

Both mother Sissy Spacek and daughter Schuyler Fisk wore black to the "A Home at the End of the World" New York Special Screening. Spacek looked amazing, just beautiful and youthful, even prettier than at the start of her career in “Carrie.” Spacek chose a sleeved black pantsuit by Giorgio Armani with a classic pearl necklace and Fisk wore a thin strapped summery version, with an Empire waist by Marc Jacobs and ankle wrapped sandals.

Beautiful Bridget Moynahan wore a stunning vibrant purple silk Gucci dress to the ESPY awards.

Mandy Moore’s ex beau Andy Roddick wore a Ralph Lauren suit to the ESPY event.

Christina Applegate carried a delicate Tod’s bag to the ESPYs, which complemented her gold disc beaded dress.

Elizabeth Rohm chose a brown summer dress with hot-pink ribbon edging by Nicole Miller to the “I, Robot” New York premiere.

Brooke Burke at 2004 ABC All Star Summer Party July 13, 2004 - C2 Cafe
Century City wore a khaki colored pantsuit with baby blue accessories (purse and shoes) by Tommy Hilfiger.

Designer Returns: Los Angeles, CA - After a two season hiatus, designer KATE O'CONNOR plans to return to the runway with her Spring 05 collection. The designer, known for creating the new trend in poncho chic, will expand her collection to include additional bodies and silhouettes.

O'Connor first debuted the one-of-a-kind hand-knitted creations that landed her on the map with Gen Art: Fresh Faces in Fashion 2002. Stellar reviews and a small, but exclusive, store presence enabled her to acquire a large celebrity and fashion trendsetting customer. Since then, KATE O'CONNOR ponchos, sweaters, scarves and other designs have been seen on the street and in fashion editorials worn by such celebrities as Drew Barrymore, Giselle Bundchen, Naomi Watts, Cameron Diaz, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Kate Hudson, Holly Hunter, Paris Hilton, Kate Bosworth, Eve, Christy Turlington, Eliza Dushku, Amber Valetta and so many, many more.

O'Connor's runway solo debut came with the showing of Fall 04 during which the designer introduced new ideas in layered looks, minidresses, jumpsuits and sweaters in muted color combinations of soft, sumptuous yarns made from alpaca and merino wool. Once again, favorable reviews ensued and O'Connor's business began to grow.

The collection can now be found in just over 60 stores nationwide and in select international doors.www.kateoconnordesigns.com

TLC Thinks To Back-to-School
: Recess Is Over: Tlc Goes Back To School With Special Episodes Of “While You Were Out” And “What Not To Wear”

WHILE YOU WERE OUT and WHAT NOT TO WEAR help current students with new looks for spaces and faces! On Friday, August 6, 2004 from 9-11 PM (ET/PT), the two series feature special premiere episodes of fraternity house at the University of Richmond (Virginia) and a high school junior from Montgomery County (Maryland) who each get some TLC!

First, WHILE YOU WERE OUT goes Greek when the team of Evan Farmer, designer Nadia Geller, and carpenters Andrew Dan-Jumbo and Ali Barone roll onto the campus. Brandon, president of Phi Delta Theta, is very close with his brothers, especially since the fraternity went dry four years ago. He thinks a makeover of the “brothers’ main room” will show them how much all of their hard work has not been overlooked. Brandon

Then, WHAT NOT TO WEAR roams the halls of high school. In a departure from the normal nomination process of the series, Montgomery Blair High School in suburban Washington, D.C., asked its students to nominate themselves. Still, junior Erinn was surprised when fashion experts Stacy London and Clinton Kelly showed up with a camera crew in the cafeteria! Although she has the friends, passion and hobbies of a normal teenager, Erinn lacks the style and overall appearance that usually tends to consume teens’ lives. What sleek styles can Stacy and Clinton come up with to prepare Erinn for collegiate studies in everyday fashion?
Both WHILE YOU WERE OUT and WHAT NOT TO WEAR are produced by BBC Productions USA for TLC. The executive producer for BBC is Abigail Harvey. Michael Klein is the executive producer for TLC.
