Canadian Sonya Madden’s new creation, the cardi-wrap, combines the comfort of a wrap with the practicality of a sweater says Daily Candy – and they’re right. These lovely cashmere yummies are taking off like crazy. Marcia Cross and her publicist ordered them. Then Denise Richards saw one and wanted one, but not only for herself, but for her (first) baby Sam. The folks at Madden knitted one up for the little Sheen child – matching mummy-baby cardi-wrap heaven.

It can tie in front, in back, on the side, or can be left open. It’s made of 100 percent cashmere and comes in bright colors reminiscent of pink begonias, turquoise seas, green apples, and lemonade. Chunky stripe patterns are available too. It comes in three styles and more than 10 colors.
