But alas, none of it is true! It doesn't work, pretty much at all. It doesn't heat up enough to warm your paws.

Admittedly, we bought this only because we were afraid of the recharable highly flammable capsule thingys available as travel hair irons. And, to be honest, because it was only $3.99 at the local (Hollywood) Ross Dress For Less.

But we were excited about the possibilities. We do a lot of our regimine in the car on the way to work and this seemed like a welcome addition.

We followed the instructions, allowing it to charge for at least eight hours initally, and then tried it. And it was BARELY lukewarm. We could say, well, we're spoiled by the fancy GHD Hair Iron we LOVE, but our expectations for the Igia were extremely low. So even if it worked a tiny bit we would've been impressed, but there's nothing to be impressed about. Don't even pay the $3.99 -- it only SOUNDS like a good deal.
