Gia Denim

Gia is a new line of denim created by designer Gia Ventola that just joined the PURE showroom. Gia uses only fine Italian denim, and her designs feature mini skirts, pencil skirts, shorts, knickers, and jeans with unfinished hems, exterior pockets and embellishments.

Originally from Massachusetts, Gia Ventola studied at Parsons School of Design. Her first label Pop Ventolation, a line for juniors specializing in denim and leather was launched in 1998. From there she expanded to swimwear and a new line - Gia's World. When Britney Spears opened her 1999 concert tour, she was wearing a pink pleather tube top with white pleather pants designed by Gia.

Ventola's since outfitted Destiny's Child and singer Macy Gray. Meantime, her designs have been showcased in Entertainment Weekly, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, and Seventeen. She made her debut at 7th on Sixth during the Spring 2001 Season via the Girls Rule show. Gia has re-emerged with a line of denim unlike any other:
