Foot Fetish
Awhile ago, we saw a piece on the Today show or The Early Show or one of those news shows, about a woman whose family did not buy any product manufactured in China. It seemed like a crazy idea and the one standout for us was that their children could only play with Legos.
If that woman wanted a massager, she’d be hard pressed to find one not made in China – but there is one, the Medi-Rub Foot Massager made in the good old U.S.A.
We first spied the back and foot massager at a gifting suite, and our immediate thought – we admit, was that they looked so terribly old school. But there's something to be said about retro-styled, good old-fashioned health treatments (who doesn't love a hot mineral bath?).
Ah, and to sample the Medi-Rub was a real treat. You can buy the ubiquitous Homemedic products and get relief, but certainly not in any professional degree.
We found the Medi-Rub foot massager to be more powerful, even on the low setting, than the foot massagers at places like Knott’s Berry Farm or the County Fair. If you’re not accustomed to a strong vibration via foot massage, it will only take seconds to accept the relaxing properties. Heavenly, truly.
We tried it for about 10 minutes and stood up and felt, actually, gooey. Just lovely.
There’s an active warranty program and there’s little doubt that the Medi-Rub is wholly made of much sterner stuff than any of the of foot massager products you can find on Amazon, at Bed, Bath and Beyond and Target.

We found this on-line and it’s further encouraging:
It's a fact: All major organs and nerves throughout the body end in the nerve endings underneath your feet. According to the principles of Foot Reflexology, massaging your feet stimulates all the nerve endings and pressure points in your feet, thus creating a soothing effect that actually relieves pain and discomfort in your other extremities and torso. No wonder people love foot massages. Improve your blood circulation and feel soothing relief after a long day. Used by professional athletes and massage professionals, too!
