Purse-y With the Fringe On the Bottom

(Apologies to the musical "Oklahoma.") We have always wondered why a teeny tiny elfin girl like Mary-Kate Olsen always carries such ginormous handbags. And here she is, walking the streets of Manhattan, with not one, but two purses. The cool looking big black suede one is Stuart Weitzman's Lace Frobo. And even if you didn't ask (out loud) you know you want to know who MK's with in that photo -- the guy is her boyfriend (of several months), Nate Lowman. He's supposedly an artist and she was seen in public with him back in September in NYC at the Benjamin Cho fashion show and making out at the Grace Jones' concert in Miami. They're supposedly "serious" (in Hollywood speak), and she spent Christmas with Lowman and his family at their home in the artsy town of Idyllwyld, Calif. where Lowman's dad runs an art school.
