Oscar-nominated composer John Debney will receive the Henry Mancini Award from ASCAP. As the youngest recipient of this award, he’s worked on many acclaimed films in a short period of time, including The Passion of the Christ, Bruce Almighty The Princess Diaries, Spy Kids, The Scorpion King, The Replacements, and Elf. He'’s currently scoring Robert Rodriguez’' film-noir Sin City and scored the No. 1 U.S. movie, The Pacifier. The Passion Recut is opening on Friday and Debney will perform the Oscar-nominated The Passion of the Christ score live in concert at several venues.
