Tracy Bonham

Singer-Songwriter Pairs Up With Illustrator

While paging through an art book late last year, musical artist Tracy Bonham came upon a series of illustrations from artist Hadley Hooper . The prints, part vintage magazine graphics and part illustration, inspired Bonham to contact the artist.

"Hadley is as much a part of this record as the violin parts are. She created this art -- the bird and the firefly -- as a response to my new music," says Bonham. "To me, the firefly represents that fleeting moment of clarity, the subject of the album."

Multi-instrumentalist Bonham’'s new album 'blink the brightest' comes out May 10, 2005 on Zoe/Rounder Records. Look for songs like "Dumbo Sun," "Wilting Flower," and "Something Beautiful." www.tracybonham.com
