The New Luxuriators: Pricey Specs

Franco Design Studio will debut the new Luxuriator Collection at the 2006 Couture Show this June in Las Vegas. Franco originals include: Blue Aviator Luxuriators, hand carved with buffalo horn temples made from turquoise colored lizard, and blue graduate lenses with flash mirrors. Retail price $6000. Custom shaped Butterfly glasses with lavendar to pink lense, special died buffalo temples and diamond studded.Retail price $7000. Leather and pave diamond necklace accessory: $3500.

Franco’s custom designs are handcrafted buffalo horn and come in colors including purple, yellow and blue. Buffalo horn is usually only the color of tortoise shell but Franco dyes the horns for almost a month to give the color its rich look. His more dramatic designs are usually diamond encrusted sunglasses with ostrich, leopard, crocodile, stingray, and python temples. Franco is also an experienced optician and can personalize all types of lenses. He can make a pair of custom glasses in only a few hours.
