Definitely a Good Hair Day

From the U.K., With Love

O.K., here’s the thing: all hair straighteners are not created equally. We had no idea of the differences between this flat iron and that one. The only thing we knew was that we’d gotten a Gail Hudson one at the Distinctive Assets Backstage Lounge at the Grammys that was darn good.

Because it’s pricey, we didn’t want to keep it at work in the desk in the pen. We mean, cubicle. Therefore, we opted for Rite-Aid quality flat iron after the next, meaning we spent the amount of money we should’ve spent on one good one on three awful ones, which we just passed on to those whose locks needed less.

Not so our head of hair. Our hair had been through the Japanese Straightening process not once, not twice, but three times. We’re now at the mark of where it’s been 2.5 years since the last treatment and our hair, while not as wonky as it once was, is back to being, well, a little wonky.

We invested in a Wynter iron from Overstock.com, only to find that, while better than the Conair crap we’d tried, isn’t all THAT good. And we’re returning it.

Because it’s not so good. AND because we’ve discovered the utter hair delights of ghd straighteners (both of these pictured here are ghd). There you go. They’re not cheap, but they’re the best. You should get one. If you’re going to straighten your hair, do it healthily. We’ll investigate the lines products soon, but for now we can vouch, big time, for the hair straightening irons. They’re super hot in the U.K. and heavily sought-after in the U.S. and now, they’re finally available here.

ghd or good hair day is a professional hair beauty company, which has shot to fame in the UK over the last two years. ghd are most famous for their ceramic styling and straightening irons, which revolutionised the hair industry both in Europe and across the globe. At last, women could achieve that red-carpet look with frizz-free, smooth hair, whether it be poker-straight or full of movement. Stars such as Renee Zellweger, Jennifer Aniston and Victoria Beckham have all become evangelists of the brand by counting the ghd irons as a must-have item in their beauty bags.

The company has just launched ghd thermodynamics, a revolutionary 4-step hair beauty program to nourish, protect, style and finish heat-styled hair. Each product contains ingredients that work with heat, ensuring your hair remains protected, nourished and looking fantastic before, during and after heat-styling. Take full advantage of heat, without worrying about damage. Don’t we all want that??

ghd straighteners: ghd straighteners have become legendary in UK hairdressing. ghds hair straighteners were the first straighteners to offer ceramic straightener plates and high temperature, which rocketed ghds hair straighteners to a cult-like status.

ghd hair care products contain only the finest ingredients, using natural solutions such as Dead Sea Mud and a whole host of essential oils and herbs to create products that really work.
