Roseanne Cash U.S. Tour

After a well-received series of U.K. live performances Rosanne Cash has confirmed new U.S. live dates for the remainder of 2006. A full list of confirmed dates is below.

Rosanne Cash’s Black Cadillac was released earlier this year, perhaps the most compelling release of her distinguished career. She wrote the album over roughly two years in which she lost her father Johnny Cash, her stepmother June Carter Cash, and her mother Vivian Liberto Cash Distin. With this album Rosanne confronts her family legacy as never before while simultaneously pursuing her own bold creative path with renewed commitment.

But much more than Rosanne’s own musical memoir, Black Cadillac is a universal classic which resonates deeply with anyone who has wrestled with the complexities of mortality, loss and redemption.

“Wonderfully crafted…This is the best album she’s ever made.” – Newsweek

“Rosanne Cash’s best and darkest…absolutely in the family tradition.” – Rolling Stone

“Powerful…12 beautiful songs.” – Vanity Fair

Steve Lippman’s short film, “Mariners and Musicians,” based on conversations, writings and music by Rosanne, recently premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. The trailer can be seen at www.stevelippman.com.
