And despite the denials that she's involved with one of her co-stars (Brian Van Holt, who plays Bobby, her character's ex), Courteney Cox has separated from her husband of 11 years, actor David Arquette. Their statement says:
"The reason for this separation is to better understand ourselves and the qualities we need in a partner and for our marriage," the statement said. "We remain best friends and responsible parents to our daughter and we still love each other deeply."
Of course they do. That's why they've separated.
And, after five years of marriage, two other famous couples have separated.
Christina Aguilar and her husband, producer Jordan Bratman have separated, complete with requisite statement that they remain completely committed to their two-year-old son, Max.
Singer Ben Harper has filed for divorce from his wife, actress Laura Dern, asking for joint custody of their two children. Harper noted in his petition that they have been separated since January.
Who's next? Despite their fervent protests to the contrary, we have a sneaking suspicion it could be the Twitter-happy Kutchers.
