ROXS Chooses New Agency

B|W|R PPI welcomes a new women's wear line, ROXS, to its roster of fashion clients. The line, based out of New York, will be at New York's Coterie show in February. ROXS' designer is Shakara Ledard.

Ledard, designer of ROXS, has modeled for high-profile campaigns for Sports Illustrated, Victoria's Secret, Liz Claiborne and L'Oreal . She was a featured player in Justin Timberlake's "Like I Love You" video, Ledard captured the attention of casting directors and acted in films including the upcoming Damon Wayans' release "Behind the Smile." However, all the attention in front of the camera is not where this half French, half Caribbean beauty's passion really lies. In late 2005, Ledard, who grew up in a family of fashion designers and studied at design school herself, picked up the scissors and a pencil and went to work. She's partnered with industry veteran Carl Bethencourt.
