Bethany Dillon’s a Dreamer

EMI Sparrow Records artist Bethany Dillon’s song “Dreamer” will be featured as the end credit song for the film Dreamer: Inspired by a True Story. The song Dreamer” was co-written by Dillon and Ed Cash, Gospel Music Association Producer of the Year.

Opening nationwide on October 21, 2005, the movie Dreamer stars Kurt Russell, Dakota Fanning, Kris Kristofferson and Elisabeth Shue in a tale of a horse trainer (Russell) and his daughter (Fanning) who nurse an injured horse back to health. www.dreamworks.com/Dreamer

This month, 16-year-old Dillon and Sparrow Records will partner with DreamWorks to produce a music video for “Dreamer” and begin promoting the song as a single which is set for a September 12, 2005 impact date at Hot AC and Triple A radio formats.

Dreamer” is also the opening track to Imagination, the follow up to Dillon’s eponymous debut.


In addition to promoting her new record and “Dreamer,” Dillon is also a featured artist on the inspired-by soundtrack to "The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe” (Walt Disney Films/Walden Media). www.narnia.com. Dillon performed “Hero,” her contribution to the soundtrack, at the American Booksellers Association (ABA) Convention in New York City and the International Christian Retail Show (ICRS) in Denver this summer.
