Larry Sorenson (Chris Kramer) is kidnapped soon after he begins working at a large corporation. The ransom demands are sent to his wife, Elizabeth (Gold). Elizabeth and Detective Kelsoe (Tobias Mehler) work together to discover that the kidnapping is part of a larger, international plot to take over the company. As they try to find Larry, Elizabeth and Detective Kelsoe fall in love but must put their feelings on hold to expose the kidnappers.
