Celebrity makeup and eyebrow artist, Robert Bolanos, is now doing Lash Extensions with NovaLash and expects the service to become the newest trend. "I have been tinting eye lashes for years to darken and emphasize the eyes. Now with the Lash Extensions, women can get fuller, thicker lashes."

The process is quite complicated as it involves Catagen- the growth process of lashes. It is essential to only attach the new lashes to existing lashes that are in the middle of their growth process. If attached to longer lashes at the end of their life cycle, the lashes will droop and fall off.

The Los Angeles-based Bolanos also uses a specific glue from the NovaLash, Lash Extensions. The glue has no fumes and is a low grade medical adhesive. This is important as some salons may be their glue in bulk from a unsafe source.

The service with Bolanos is $300 and lasts 2 months. The process also includes lash tinting 2 days prior to the NovaLash Lash Extension service. Lashes can range in length, depending on desired dramatic effect. (8, 10, 12 mm).
