"Curb" To Return to HBO
Gervais' New Series on HBO

Curb Your Enthusiasm (10 p.m.) and Extras (10:30 p.m.) to kick off new seasons back-to-back on Sunday, September 25, 2006 beginning at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT), immediately following a new episode of the new HBO drama series "Rome."

Returning for its ten-episode fifth season, the Emmy(r)- and Golden Globe-winning Curb Your Enthusiasm stars "Seinfeld" co-creator Larry David as himself in an unsparing, cinema verité depiction of his life. Featuring real-life celebrities playing themselves, the episodes are improvised by the actors from storylines by David.

Extras stars Ricky Gervais (star of "The Office") as bitter, aspiring actor Andy Millman, who gives up his day job to pursue fame in the movies, only to find he just can't land the big parts. Each episode will have a different setting and feature cameos by top Hollywood stars, including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet and Patrick Stewart. The cast will also feature Stephen Merchant as Millman's agent. The six-episode first season begins September 25, 2006.
