SlimDelices is a line of chocolates, coffee and tea, created by French health and beauty expert Gil Mennetrey, and distributed in the US exclusively by LNS (Laboratories Natural Scientific) USA, a San Diego based distributor of health and beauty products owned by Lorraine Oberfeld and Helen Krasovic. The natural scientific formula, consisting of active vegetable ingredients such as Chicory Inulin, Artichoke powder, and Green Tea and Guarana Extracts, work together, say reps, to give your muscles and metabolism that extra push, without harmful or speedy side effects.

Chocla Slim Squares contain 90% rich dark chocolate and 10% slimming formula. Dark chocolate packs fewer calories than milk chocolate and lots of heart healthy antioxidants.

Tea Slim is made from real green and black tea, black currant, cherry stalk, mate leaves and bitter orange leaves plus a 36% slimming formula.

Café Slim is java with an extra jolt, made with 73.3% Arabica coffee and 26.7% slimming formula.

Also available in the SlimDelices line is the more aggressive diet product, Quick Slim. - Maltodextrin- Maltodextrin is an easily digestible complex carbohydrate made from natural corn starch. Maltodextrin is the preferred carbohydrate used in energy foods due to its solubility, low taste profile, and quick absorption.

- Artichoke Extract- Relieves digestive problems, eases irritable bowel syndrome and lower cholesterol.

- Green Tea Extract- Its main use is to help with the metabolism of fat. It was also used by the Chinese to treat headaches, body ache, poor digestion, and improve well being and life expectancy. It lowers cholesterol and protects against respiratory and digestive infections.

- Guarana Extract- Guarana is an herbal stimulant that contains a form of caffeine called guaranine, which is 2.5 times stronger than the caffeine found in coffee, tea and soft drinks. What makes guaranine unique from caffeine found in beverages is its slower release. That's because the guarana seed is fatty (even in powder form) and is not readily water-soluble. Therefore the body does not quickly absorb it.

Since the guaranine is released slowly, the energy boost that is experienced from guarana is not like that of coffee with its sudden rush and quick drop-off. Rather, it continues to escalate over time.
