Along with the celebrities listed below BeansTalk attending the Distinctive Assets Backstage Lounge where we met the folks from Marnie Rocks

Hilary Duff

Items Chosen: 3 white heart bracelets, blue skull on gold, turquoise disc on silver chain

Hillary loved Marnie's white turquoise heart bracelets. She put 3 of them on and wore them out. She also chose the blue naughty/nice necklace. When she first came to see Marnie, she recognized her designs, and said, "Hi, I already have some of your designs. I bought a great chain necklace with a green stone pendant that I love." Marnie told her that she thought she saw her sister, Hailey, wearing it in a magazine photo, and Hillary laughed and said, "Oh my gosh, me too, that is how I knew she stole it from me!" Marnie gave her a chain necklace with a turquoise disk to give Hailey. Hilary said, "I will give it to her for sure, and then maybe she will give me back my other Marnie Rocks necklace." They had a great time chatting and got great photos together.

Hayden Panetierre

Items Chosen: Add a Bead birth stone necklace, gold twisted Kane necklace, blue skull on gold chain, large gold hammered earrings, gold python clutch

Hayden and her mom had a great time with Marnie customizing birthstone necklaces. Her mom chose to have all 12 months on hers, so as to interchange them with various outfits, and Hayden chose to have the birthstones of her mom, dad, little brother, and boyfriend. She also chose one of Marnie's gold chains and wore it on air when interviewed for MSNBC about education. Marnie also showed her a gold python clutch that matched Hayden's outfit, which she LOVED, and said she would wear the python clutch all of the time and that she absolutely loved it. The clutches have not yet been debuted and Hayden is the only talent that was given a clutch. Her little brother chose a green naughty/nice necklace and sported it the rest of the evening, stating, "this is so pimp!" .


Paula Abdul

Items Chosen: Sophie earrings, white turquoise heart bracelets, green and blue skull necklaces, live your truth t-shirt, wood and green jasper earring, black pendant on gold chain, turq heart on gold chain.

Paula loved Marnie's designs. She spent a lot of time at the booth, and chose over 6 items to take with her. Spoke with Marnie quite a bit and told her to keep an eye on American Idle b/c she would for sure be wearing Marnie's jewelry on the show. Paula's stylist approached Marnie’s PR rep ahead of time and insisted on exchanging all information b/c she was certain Paula would love it all and would end up wanting more in the future. The stylist wanted to keep in touch so that she could use Marnie’s designs to style Paula in the future.

Justine Timberlake

Items Chosen: Birth stone necklaces, skull necklace, turquoise earrings.

They were thrilled to find "the perfect mother's day gift” for Justin’s mom. They chose Marnie's custom birthstone necklaces. Marnie originally designed these to keep her kids close to her heart. She wears one with all four birthstones of her children and thinks that every mom should have one! Marnie created one on the spot with Justin's birthstone, a garnet. The shopper and stylist said that he would be overseas on Mother's Day and were thrilled to have something she would love. They exchanged cards so they could use Marnie to shop for him in the future.

Necy Nash

Items Chosen: 14k gold filled turquoise disc necklace, Marnie rocks t-shirt, Captain of my soul t-shirt.

Absolutely loved Marnie, seemed she couldn't get enough of her. Kept referring to Marnie as "diva" and promised, very intently, that she would be wearing it on the red carpet, and that when she did she would have Marnie contacted so she could be sure to see. Necy really wanted Marnie to autograph the necklace. Unfortunately, the sharpie was lost, and Marnie was unable to autograph the necklace, to the disappointment of both Marnie and Necy.


Jamie Lynn Spears

Items Chosen: turquoise heart necklace, blue skull with gold chain

Jamie Lynn really liked Marnie’s designs. She spent time choosing and looking. Took great pics with Marnie and seemed really pleased with everything. Ended up having to go suddenly b/c dad phoned and wanted her back outside. She skipped other booths in order to meet him.

Randy Jackson

Items Chosen: blue skull on silver chain, Marnie rocks t-shirt, bone butterfly necklace.

Randy seemed to love Marnie. He absolutely loved the skull necklace. Chatted up Marnie quite a bit and joked around. He was very complimentary on her designs.


Matt Flynn of Maroon 5 (Lead Singer)

Items Chosen: turquoise heart necklace strung with turquoise beads, butterfly necklace, stationery, turquoise bracelet.

Matt chose the butterfly necklace for his daughter and the white turquoise heart necklace for his wife. He talked to Marnie about expecting his 2nd baby, and said they never find out the sex before the baby is born and loves to be surprised.

Nelly

Items Chosen: white heart necklace strung with turquoise beads, three turq bracelets.

Nelly chose the white turquoise heart beaded with turquoise necklace and 3 turquoise bracelets for his 13 year old daughter, Chanel. He said, "this stuff Rocks" and came back a second time to visit with Marnie and Hayden Panetierre while they shopped together and gave them his opinion on what he thought would look good. Great pictures of Marnie, Hayden and Nelly shopping and chatting were taken. Nelly was very friendly and seemed to really like the whole Marnie rocks crew.
AJ and Allie

Items Chosen: skull necklaces and t-shirts

Started screaming, "oh my God, skulls, skulls! Oh how cool!" when they got to Marnie's table. The twins quickly chose the naughty and nice necklaces for themselves and even grabbed one for their mom. They said they loved everything on the table and that Marnie rocked. They also chatted with Marnie about a common spring favorite; the color yellow. Marnie was wearing a yellow Prada dress and AJ also choose a yellow dress for the event. Great pictures were taken of the three of them.

Aaron Carter

Items Chosen: blue skull on silver chain, white and turq heart necklaces, stationary, silver earrings

Aaron loved Marnie's naughty and nice necklaces. He put on the blue and the green for himself. Marnie helped him choose 2 turquoise heart and chain necklaces, a pack of MR stationary and a MR t-shirt for his girlfriend. He said that he could use some pointers on the girlfriend front and Marnie showed him how to wrap up the goodies he chose and advised him to use one of the stationary cards to write her a sweet note. He said, "Wow, You really do rock!" He gave Marnie a big hug and said he was going to wear his Marnie rocks necklace every day.
