Now in its 26th year, the BRIT Awards (the UK equivalent of the Grammy’s) honors the best in pop, rock and urban music across the international music scene. Award categories include Best Live Act, International Breakthrough Act and the prestigious British Album Award.
This year the show features exclusive performances by Coldplay, Kanye West and Kelly Clarkson and a rare appearance from pop superstar Prince as well as intimate acoustic sets from James Blunt and Jack Johnson.
With a unique appearance from eccentric cartoon band Gorillaz and guest presentations from glamorous superstars including Madonna and Paris Hilton this years show is brought to an electrifying close by the Outstanding Contribution to British Music winner, Paul Weller.
